GEO Lens (“the extension”) is a browser extension that audits a web page for on-page SEO and AI-search readiness, showing scores and actionable checks. This policy explains how GEO Lens handles your information. In short: it doesn’t collect any.

Data we collect

None. GEO Lens does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or user data with us or any third party. We have no servers that receive your data, no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts.

How GEO Lens works

The audit runs entirely locally, inside your own browser, on your own device. When you run an audit, the extension analyses the current page’s content and structure in your browser to calculate its scores. The pages you audit are never sent to us or anyone else.

Saved audits

If you save an audit, it is stored locally on your own device using your browser’s storage. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted anywhere, and can be cleared by you at any time.

Permissions

GEO Lens requests only the minimum browser permissions needed to function. The activeTab permission is used to read the page you are currently viewing, only when you click the GEO Lens icon. The scripting permission is used to analyse that page to compute the audit. The storage permission is used to save your audits locally on your device. These permissions are used solely to provide the extension’s features and never to collect or transmit information.

Third parties

GEO Lens does not share data with third parties, because it does not collect any. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking code. All software libraries are bundled within the extension and run locally; nothing is loaded from external servers at runtime.

Payments

If you purchase a Pro licence, payment is handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. Please refer to that provider’s privacy policy for how your payment information is handled.

Children’s privacy

GEO Lens does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
